The Budapest Parliament buildings is located on the banks fo the Danube and is without doubt one of the most beautiful buildings in Budpapest. It is an imposing site and a prominent feature as you fly in over the city. At night it is lite up while during the days its red dome, white stone lace ornamenation and spires decorate its every corner. It also contains some magnificent artefacts, includng the crown of the first Hungarian King which is over 1000 years old.

Opening time: Guided tours on the hour (or half hour during peak season) between the following times: Monday 8am to 11am; Tuesday to Saturday 8am to 4pm; Sunday 8am to 2pm
Admission: 2,300 Ft (adults), 1,150 Ft (students).
Tickets are sold at the gate a quarter of an hour before each tour.
