Budapest Fishermans Bastion
Budapests Fisherman's Bastion is one of the most peculiar yet spectacular buildings in Budapest bring in the neo-Romanesque style favoureb by Frigyes Schulek between 1899 and 1905, as part fo the ancient castle wall behind Matthias Church. Its lookoup towers, terraces and passages resembling the cross corridors of cloisters creating a unique atmosphere and one of the best places in Budapest to view the Danube and the city of Budapest with panoramaic landscapes. From here you can see the Budapest Parliament buildings in all their glory.

Statue of St Stephen Budapest
The statue lies in the interior courtyard of the Halasz Bastya otherwise commonly known as Fishermen's Bastion. The statue was created by Alajos Stróbl. This famous statue of the state-founding king St Stephan on horseback was unveiled in Buda Castle in 1906, and the king is sen wearing the Holy crown and has a golden halo, he is waiving a holy sceptre as he blesses his people.
